Happy (belated) 1st Anniversary : Stacey, Brett ... and sorry I am late. I am a bad brother / brother-in-law :)
Wheelin' : Went offroad Sunday, and while I am still very happy with my Jeep + tires : ... my winch broke (stupid dirty battery connections, fixed) ... (when I needed it the most - to un-stuckify a certain Land Cruiser) ... my clutch linkage disconnected from the pedal (cheap plastic bushing, now = home-grown metal ring + cotter pin) :) ... (which pretty much ended the day; but a bungee chord did the job, and got me home!)
Blogger : Starting to Sux0r today? ... OK, working now ...
09.11.2001'ish : Mark Steyn - Mugged by Reality... Mohammed Atta's little run in with the Dept of Agriculture ... found via Ace, who adds "PC Kills" (that sounds vaguely familiar!)
SCOTUS : Hillary to support Roberts... a (junior) Senator doing his/her job should NOT be "news" ... and (IMHO) this is still just part of her virtual transformation, so she has another talking point during '08
I pledge allegiance, to Ted Nugent: “A Ted Nugent campaign (for Michigan governor) would certainly be a treat for voters if his extravagant rock shows are any guide to how he would conduct his rallies. At his concert Monday night in Waco, Texas, he instructed U.S. military personnel in the audience to challenge anyone who didn’t say the Pledge of Allegiance. ‘If they ain’t saying anything, just go ahead and knock ‘em down. You may resuscitate them immediately,’ Mr. Nugent told a laughing crowd.” --thanks Ted Nugent, via Richard Nixon of The Wide Awakes!
